The Healthcare Needs of Texas

March 8, 2018 By Mac Ewart

Texas, as the large Lonestar State that it is, presents unique challenges to conventional healthcare. Time is often a deciding factor in health prognoses for patients, thus dictating the outcome (sometimes even prior to treatment). Distance contributes to time, but also complicates continued care and maintenance of a patient’s conditions.

At Arlumen Health we are innovating to render time less of complication in the care of our patients by providing mobile transposition of state-of-the-art care to where our patients are – not the other way around! When patients are in need of urgent and life-threatening care, Arlumen will be there with virtually the full capability of elite American healthcare innovation.

At Arlumen Health we are also innovating to render distance a foe of the past for our patients. By providing mobile transposition of state-of-the-art care across long distances in shorter periods of time, Arlumen will saves lives that will have otherwise been lost. Furthermore, with new innovative methods of delivery for care, affordable options for routine care will be readily available to our patients – saving our Texas patients the drive.

As you can see, at Arlumen Health we are about next generation healthcare that revolutionizes the way you, the people, stay well in our great Lonestar State!

Meet the CEO

March 8, 2018 By Michelle Bradford

Meet our CEO: Mac Ewart.

Mac Ewart is the Founder of Arlumen Health. An alumni of Texas Tech University, he is currently a student physician at the UNTHSC Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he is focused on becoming one of tomorrow’s servant leaders in Health. He believes that physicians have the ability, and the responsibility, to transform lives through the healing arts. His goals are to save lives, and to blaze trails so that others may do the same.

From these very same values, Mac has always dreamed bigger for how healthcare can be for Texans. Early in his career he was a nurse assistant to many residents of central and west Texas – two areas of the Lonestar State that often place patients in the position of needing to drive long distances for healthcare. This problem presented itself in Mac’s patients in often saddening ways. Patients deserve better than to be harmed by time and distance…this is Texas and we can do better!

By listening to patients, Mac discovered much of their problems with continuing treatments. By loving his patients, Mac found he could not walk away from the calling responsibility to the people of this great State. By selflessly serving his patients, Mac discovered the true joys of healing others in their moments of weakness. Arlumen Health now embodies the “Listen. Love. Serve.” model for healthcare delivery at all stages. Formed out of this man’s vision, we at Arlumen will strive to be a light in your darkness.
